Snake Bite
By Claudette on Sep 16, 2011 | In Claudette - Reaching Out
Yesterday morning, my husband and I went out to breakfast, at one of our favorite small restaurants, we go there often when our girls are in school, it’s like a date breakfast.
This particular morning at this restaurant was quite unusual, we walked in and sat at our favorite spot, the waitress brought our food, and as we were eating I looked out the window and there was a garner snake coiled up on top of the groomed pine bush. I asked the waitress is that fake, and she said let me check, she began to tell us that some of the staff like to prank her with fake snakes, she brought the cook out to our table to look at it, and he said no it’s a real snake, another man as he was leaving looked at my husband and I and said “how bizarre”.
The snake in the small tree bush was the news of the morning. The cook figured sense it was a cold night it must have climbed up to the top of the tree bush to get the warmth of the sun, but it was not in that tree when we first got there, because I had looked out the window before we sat down, and the tree bush takes up most of the window.
My husband and I knew there was a prophetic message in it all, the Lord speaks through all his creation, the Lord was saying something especially when that snake got everyone’s attention.
Moses in the bible was told to make a snake and put it on a pole for all those bitten can live.
Numbers 21:8
The LORD said to Moses, "Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.
We know snake bites can sicken you, scar you, frighten you, and kill you; no one wants to be bitten by a snake.
I know many reading this have been bitten by some bad snakes, maybe you have actually been bitten by a real snake, but I am talking about the snake bite of life. Those snakes that come and bite away at our spiritual health, finances, physical health and those snake bites that hold us down from going forward.
The Lord spoke and said as the Israelites looked upon the snake and were healed from the snake bites , the snake in the tree bush was a symbol of what I am is now going to do in this “now season” for those that have been badly bitten.
Healing in all areas-Rebirth-Restoration!
Blessings,
Claudette Moss
