Transplant Shock

Transplant Shock
The other day I heard the sound of a dove singing, and as soon as I heard it I knew spring is just around the corner. The Dove tells us winter is coming to an end, and spring is going to begin, a time of transition from one season to the next.
"My beloved raised his voice and said to me, 'Arise, my beloved, my fair one, and come away. For behold, the winter has passed; the rain is over and gone. The blossoms have appeared in the land, the time of singing has arrived, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land."?Song of Solomon 2:10-12
The other day my husband and I were talking about something that was bothering me, and he said to me, look at a small plant inside a small pot, when it gets too big for the pot you have to transplant it into a bigger pot. There are times when God will uproot you like that small plant in the pot, and he will take you from that small pot of development, and plant you in a garden or fertile field, why? It?s time to transition.
a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, Ecclesiastes 3:2
I know the body of Christ is in transition, I have heard many talk about transition over the years, but for me particularly this season really feels like transition, sometimes you can just feel it deep down inside without explanation. A shift is here now, like winter into spring, like the small plant that is planted into that fertile field, transition is here.
I know that transitions are bigger steps, ordered by the Lord for his people, I know as the body of Christ we are to embrace and accept it when He plants, uproots and alter our assignments, because God does have a better plan for our lives.

There are those times we feel like everything is dormant kind of like the months of winter, not much moving, but I remember being taught at a young age that there are storms, and in the middle of those particular storms, it?s still. Did you know? That there could be fast transitions happening right under our noses and we don?t know it, because the Lord has placed us in the middle of the storm, or eye of the storm. The Lord has placed us in the middle of the storm to be still, and see the salvation of the Lord. Have you ever tried to battle with a storm, I would say not.
And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saves not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give you into our hands. 1 Samuel 17:47
As you are in middle of the storm where it is still and dormant, is when that sudden moment of change, shift and transition will arrive. The small plant in the pot does not get warned of when it will be uprooted and replanted. The small plant sits quietly and still, until the hand that feeds it and nourish it, comes to uproot it and replant it, too become all what it is meant to be.
This is how I see it, it?s not in the sudden moment of shift, change and transition to a higher place that is challenging, it is adapting to the new. The Israelites sudden moment of deliverance from Egypt was not that challenging, it was adapting to the new. If you know anything about plants, then you know there is what is called ?transplant shock? I have felt that myself! However, with the right nourishment and care plants adjust to the transplant, and like the plant you will also adjust, and the nourishment and care for us comes from the Lord, who is mighty in battle.
The shift, transitions and change are here, it?s the Lords strategy. It is time to adjust!
Blessings,
