A Line in the Sand

As I was praying the other day the word Jurisdiction came to mind, so I decided to research the term and learn the full meaning of the word.
The Encarta World English Dictionary defines Jurisdiction as:
1. Legal authority: the authority to enforce laws or pronounce legal judgments.
2. Range of legal authority: the area over which legal authority extends.
3. Authority: power or authority generally.
For example, we know that a police officer is given a certain level of legal authority over an area, but when they cross over into another county line, they are considered out of their jurisdiction.
In the Bible we can read about Jesus marking a jurisdiction, by drawing a line in the sand.
1 But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 4 and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" 6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"
11 "No one, sir," she said.
"Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin." John 8 New International Version
The fact for today is: Keep standing strong in Jesus!
Many individuals at this time are in a lock down situation orchestrated by God, because He needs to get them to that spiritual place, making way for Communion with Him. If you are one of these individuals, just keep in mind, the enemy fires rockets (such as fear, despair, hopelessness) at your defense lines with the purpose of breaking them down, trying all he can to hold you back from advancing in Christ - Just hold strong in the Lord.
In last month's post entitled "Get Ready To Launch," I write that its the season for these people in lock down to be freed. If you are one of them, have no fear, because where you are going there are jurisdiction lines set by the Lord of Hosts and He is on your side, He will draw the line if you let Him. The enemy is out of his jurisdiction when you are committed and love God with all your heart and soul, the enemy cannot cross a line that God has drawn.
Therefore what God has joined , let not man put under. Matthew 19:6
