One of the headlines featured this week was that of the shuttle Endeavour finally launching. It signaled that the delay was finally over, and the seven astronauts were on their way into space. With this news, I couldn't help but think, "What a prophetic message from God to His children."

There were seven astronauts chosen for the Endeavour mission and the number seven means completion, even the launch date for the shuttle was in the seventh month of the Gregorian calendar (July). I believe the Lord is saying that the work He has been doing in many of us is complete and it is time to get ready to launch.

There are times in our life where there will be delays, and delays are not denials, they are seasons set aside for a deeper work to be done in us, to complete us, getting us ready for the launch.
From this some will be launched into Ministry, some into a deeper relationship with Christ (Psalm 42:7), some into new careers to aid in the building of the Kingdom of God, and some will be launched out of their quandary to do great exploits for the Lord.

This is the time to hold fast (Hebrews 10:22), it is your launch date. The Lord Jesus Christ has brought the work in you to its completion, and now the next phase of your destiny is upon you. Like an astronaut, who is fastened down and ready for lift off, you feel excitement and nervousness knowing things are going to accelerate lifting you into a new spiritual dimension, but just remember, it is God's Universe that is all around you.

Let me say in closing - Get ready! Get ready to launch!
