Born To Bleed

One evening while I was worshiping the Lord, I heard the words "born to bleed." I was caught off guard and it caused me to ponder what I had just heard for a moment. I was brought to the realization that the words were pointing me to the fact, that Jesus came into to this world for all of mankind, for the one reason of laying down His life on a Cross.
As I thought about "born to bleed" some more, a deeper meaning was revealed to me by the Holy Spirit. If you will follow with me for a moment.
When Jesus hung on the Cross and the Roman soldier pierced Jesus' side, the Blood of Christ ran down the Cross and unto the dirt of the ground, the same organic matter God used to create Man.
Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. Genesis 2:7 NASB
And the blood of life is so precious to God, He can hear its cry coming out the ground. We can read about this in the Biblical account of Cain and Abel.
Now Cain said to his brother Abel, "Let's go out to the field."And while they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.
Then the LORD said to Cain, "Where is your brother Abel?"
"I don't know," he replied. "Am I my brother's keeper?"
The LORD said, "What have you done? Listen! Your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground. Genesis 4: 8-11 NIV
So likewise, when the Blood of Jesus flowed out of His side, down the Cross, and unto the ground Salvation was accomplished, and at that moment, God the Father turned His head, because He could hear the cry of His Son’s blood accomplishing His perfect Will.
How can the dirt in our life be washed away?
How can we become new creatures?
Only through Jesus' Blood, and that is why - He was born to bleed.
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 2 Corinthians 5:17 NASB
We are washed and redeemed through the Blood of Christ.
For the life of a creature is in the blood. Lev 17:11 NIV
When closing this post, the following song lyrics came to mind.
"What can make me whole again? Nothing but the Blood of Jesus.
Oh precious is the flow, that makes me white as snow, no other fount I know, nothing but the Blood of Jesus."
