He Watches Over Us

When we become a believer in Christ and develop a consistent relationship with the Lord, we can be rest assured that the Lord is watching over us.
We are valuable to Him, and He loves us with an everlasting love, we can read about this in the book of Matthew.
Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. Matthew 10 : 28-31
Sometimes, when go through troubles we feel alone and ask God ?Are you there? Do you see what I am going through??
Even Jesus Himself, asked that question when He cried out asking the Father ?Why, why, have you forsaken Me?? while hanging on the Cross. He felt that the Father had forsaken Him at the worst moment in His life. However, we know that even in that darkest moment the Father did not leave His Son (Jesus).
The Lord watches over us and He will not leave us, nor forsake us in our dark moments, in fact, He is closer than you can imagine. The Word of God declares this:
The LORD watches over you?
the LORD is your shade at your right hand. Psalm 121:5
Many times we feel like our back is against the wall. It could be the job losses taking place everywhere, or maybe it's our health, marriage, or relationships with others that went sour.
Let me share that not only will Jesus watch over you, He will also be your rear guard.
For you will not go out with haste, nor will you go in flight [as was necessary when Israel left Egypt]; for the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard. Isaiah 52 : 12 Amplified Bible
The Lord goes before you and protects you from what you cannot see coming from behind.
I experienced a situation where I felt my back was against the wall (figuratively speaking), and I could not understand why I had to take a short detour in my life, but the Lord clearly spoke to me and said, ?It is to safely get you where I need to get you.?
The spiritual realm is just as busy as the physical realm, you cannot have one without the other, and the Lord knows what is going on in both realms, at any given time, far better than we do.
May I encourage you to trust that He is watching over you, and know He is your rear guard.
As long as you reach out to Him and seek His counsel, He will guide you through the darkness.
Blessings,
Claudette Moss
