Romans 11:5 NIV
5 So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. 6 And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.
I hear Jesus saying, “Call my Remnants!” The vestiges of a once totally devoted great Church, founded by the Apostles, but dismissed and perverted by the Secular World.
What is a Remnant?
1. A Remnant will have died to their flesh, allowing Christ to live in them.
2. A Remnant will have received the Grace to carry the Cross, with Christ increasing in them while they decrease in self.
3. A Remnant will have ceased to be a normal believer and will have stepped into the realm of the supernatural with Jesus.
4. The organized church setting will cease, with the Holy Spirit having full control of them and all their meetings.
5. The driving force in them will be Jesus’ love.
We have been in a spiritual war for many centuries, since Christ died on the Cross, and now there are true remnant churches and believers hidden among the world, covered and muted by the enemy’s hand. The Church today is like a flock of sheep who are scattered about, each to their own way and isolated in different corners of the field, where the wolves can come and devour them at will, because individually we are weaker and there is strength found in united numbers. Satan has separated and dispersed the churches, along with individual believers, to have his destructive and devouring way with each of them. For example, if you look at a wartime battle plan, an enemy army seeks to separate the opposing forces, so each one of them can be destroyed without as much trouble, since a united force is a force to be reckoned with and is not as easy to overcome. This is the way of our churches today; we are divided among ourselves, not agreeing on much, even to the extent of the full Biblical gospel and thus allowing the enemy to disconnect us, each church to their own plan instead of the Lord’s overall plan for the Last Day’s Church.
The Lord is calling His Remnants (His tried and true followers) to unite into one powerful Holy Spirit filled force, to engage the enemy and win this Church Millennial battle that is waging.
We as the Global Church must return to our full Biblical foundation, and to unite all Remnant churches with Remnant Believers for this end time, we must no longer serve ourselves and just our church, each church must serve each other as was described by Jesus in the Bible.
Here is the Biblical Account:
Matthew 20:20-28 NIV
20 Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons came to Jesus with her sons and, kneeling down, asked a favor of him.
21 “What is it you want?” he asked.
She said, “Grant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom.”
22 “You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said to them. “Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?”
“We can,” they answered.
23 Jesus said to them, “You will indeed drink from my cup, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my Father.”
24 When the ten heard about this, they were indignant with the two brothers. 25 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
As verses 26 thru 27 above so clearly explains, if we do not serve one another as Jesus told the disciples to do, then we will not be able to come together for this end time battle as one united force for Jesus, and we will continue to bicker and compete against each other furthering satan’s plan and not Jesus’.
From the beginning of the Church, the disciples were to establish church or churches in a geographical area to support the needs of the people and believers in each of their sphere of influence, they were not to gather all that they could unto themselves and build and empire from it, summed up, where one church has been given over abundance, another should not lack, this gives way to Remnant unity in Christ from which Jesus can work on a larger scale – a united brotherhood (The Global Church as a whole).
In these last days before Christ returns (the Rapture), we will not survive alone, un-united as a Global Church, with each of us doing our own thing and building our own empires, this is just what satan wants, because he can destroy and disperse each church, along with its believers in a situation such as this. Just as an arm of the body cannot survive apart from the whole body, neither can anyone church survive apart from the whole Body of Christ, if we are to become the glorious Church spoken of in Ephesians chapter 5:27.
Ephesians 5:21-33 NIV
21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— 30 for we are members of his body. 31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” 32 This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. 33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
The scripture shown above is not only talking about a marriage between a man and woman, it is referring to the bond between churches and Jesus, as seen in verses 29 thru 30, since each church and believer are all together One body in Christ. The one verse above tying this together is verse 32 – This is a profound mystery –but I am talking about Christ and the church.
I can foresee the Lord gathering all His sheep into His sheep fold, to become one flock strong and fully devoted unto the Lord and ALL His ways. No longer be isolated… churches and believers, unite into one God lead army, serving and enabling one another for what is to come!
May God Gather You,
I am a vessel of the Holy Spirit.
A vessel is useless unless it is filled, and a vessel can do nothing as of itself, so as this vessel is poured out, I pen its contents as it flows. - Christopher Moss
